Off!
Around the camp grounds early Saturday morning there were a lot of Black Flag shirts. To be honest, I didn’t think Off! had that big a fanbase over here. It doesn’t surprise me that they do though because they’re pretty awesome. A bit of a strange choice for the lineup but they pulled it off in the end in the ‘Saturday early afternoon punk/hardcore timeslot’.
So yeah.. they came out and played a million songs in a little over half an hour. The entirety of First Four EP’s and then 2 more I think. I’d have loved it if they played for the entire 45 minutes they were billed to but I’m pretty sure they’ve only got a few more songs. Should have done some Circle Jerks/Black Flag songs though. People would have lost their shit.
I would have loved to have gone to the sideshow the next day but I felt horrible and I’m pretty sure the setlist would have been the same. If they ever come back again I’ll be there that’s for sure.
