Grinderman
Was pretty excited for this one. I’d seen Grinderman at the start of the year for the first time and they were fantastic then and I’d been listening to that recording leading up to this and getting more excited each time. As it turns out, this would be the last time I’d get to see Grinderman as well as Nick Cave told us all that they were over at the conclusion of their set. I’m a bit bummed out about that but to their credit they went out with a bang. The set was fantastic! Only problem was that they didn’t play every song they’ve written. Big sing alongs to Get It On and Kitchenette were pretty great. And No Pussy Blues was awesome too.
